Variety of laboratory tasks Opportunity to join as a Laboratory Assistant A leading agricultural sector company is seeking a High School Graduate, Technician, and/or Technologist in laboratory-related fields or related disciplines to fill the position of Laboratory Assistant. Required Education: Completed high school diploma. A technician or technologist degree in laboratory-related fields is preferred. Minimum Experience: 1 year in related roles such as laboratory assistant, operational assistant, operational services assistant, production, or manufacturing. Main Responsibilities: Perform sample preparation timely and to required quality standards. Dry and grind soil samples. Wash, dry, and grind foliar samples. Weigh soil samples using an analytical balance. Prepare and label materials required by analysts. Archive and purify counter-samples. Wash laboratory materials and instruments. Clean common laboratory areas and workstations, including the area restroom. Employment Conditions: Position: Laboratory Assistant Salary: COP $1,828,000 + transportation allowance COP $249,095 + statutory benefits Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Contract: Project-based or task-based contract, with potential for direct employment with the company.
