Wood is seeking a Chemical Engineer to join its Projects business unit, focusing on the Oil, Gas and New Energy (OGNE) area. This opportunity is onsite. **The Role** Wood Colombia is seeking a professional engineer in chemical engineering or related fields, with 10 years of specific experience in engineering projects within the Oil & Gas sector, to serve as a Process Engineer. Work location: Bogotá. Proficiency in tools such as Hysys, Pipephase, Pipesim, and Microsoft Office is required. **Our Clients and Projects — Designing the Future. Define/Review scope of discipline with the client for projects to be executed. * Lead project execution teams to ensure delivery of engineering deliverables including: Process Design Basis and Criteria, Equipment and Piping Calculation Memos, Industrial Utility Consumption Summary, Process Descriptions, Material and Energy Balances, Equipment Lists, Piping and Interconnection Lists. * Develop discipline-specific deliverables such as: Operating Philosophies, Operating Manuals, Conceptual Studies and Alternative Selection Studies, Bottleneck Identification, Relief System Evaluations, Facility Optimization. Ensure designs comply with international codes and standards (API, ANSI, ASME, NFPA), OSHA regulations, client specifications, and sound engineering practices. Prepare and review design notes, calculations, and data sheets to document technical specifications for rotating and static equipment. * Size process equipment including: water treatment units, knockout drums, heat exchangers, pumps, and packaged treatment or utility service units (e.g., water, air, nitrogen, etc.). Validate applicable process calculation spreadsheets using organizational evaluation methodologies. * Share lessons learned from executed projects to apply best practices to future projects. Lead operational risk analysis workshops and other safety assessments for oil and gas facilities. What Makes You Extraordinary?
