Recognized as the global benchmark for quality and integrity, we have more than 94,000 employees and a network of over 2,600 offices and laboratories worldwide. **Job Description*** Ensure the proper execution of the physical process of sample collection and sample preparation. * Ensure accurate, fast, and timely delivery of necessary information to the direct supervisor. * Ensure accurate, fast, and timely reporting of truck dispatches and receipts, as well as weight control via scale. * Ensure the request of necessary consumables required for operational activities. * Ensure compliance with applicable technical, operational, and quality procedures and standards within their area. * Ensure proper handling and maintenance of all assigned equipment. * Ensure compliance with safety regulations established by SGS Colombia and the client at the work site. * Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment during job execution. * Ensure timely communication to the immediate supervisor regarding any non-conformities, deviations, customer complaints, and/or appeals. * Ensure active participation in identifying corrective actions, preventive actions, and improvements. * Ensure active participation in internal and external audits scheduled by the Minerals Sector. * Ensure the integrity of collected samples through the use of company-provided materials and proper recording in both physical and digital formats provided by the company. * Notify the Supervisor and the Logistics Professional (in areas where a Logistics Professional applies) upon completion of a lot or sub-lot to coordinate transportation of collected samples and deliver them to the preparation area. * Report and notify the competent authority in case of loss or damage of security seals. Inform the Operations Supervisor / Operations Coordinator / Operations Manager. * Immediately report any attempt or evidence of integrity breaches by third parties or SGS team members to the Operations Supervisor / Operations Coordinator / Operations Manager / Operations Director. Other duties assigned inherent to the position. **Requirements** **Education:** High school graduate, Technologist in Mining Operations, or related fields. **Experience:** Training within the organization for a minimum period of one (1) month **Additional Information** Salary: Minimum Legal Monthly Wage + Social Benefits, Additional Transportation Allowance.
