As an Automation Tester, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of software products through the design, development, and execution of automated tests. In this role, you will work with a team of talented developers, project managers, and business stakeholders to ensure the timely delivery of high\-quality software products. Our project is focused on creating innovative software solutions utilizing Google Cloud Platform and Agile methodologies. **Responsibilities** * Collaborate with developers, project managers, and business stakeholders to understand software requirements and develop test strategies and plans * Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Java and other scripting languages * Execute automated tests and analyze the results, providing feedback to developers and stakeholders * Identify, report, and track software defects, working closely with the development team to ensure timely resolution * Ensure that all automated tests comply with the customer's infrastructure and security standards, adhering to best practices * Contribute to the development of automation frameworks and tools, enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of automated testing * Stay up\-to\-date with the latest industry trends and advancements in automated testing, continuously improving and optimizing our testing processes * Participate in Agile ceremonies, understanding one's role and effectively following established development processes **Requirements** * Minimum of 2 years of experience in automated testing, with a strong foundation in Java * Experience in Web Service/API Test Automation, with a deep understanding of web services and related technologies * Experience with Google Cloud Platform, utilizing its services for scalable and reliable application development * Proficiency in Agile methodologies, demonstrating a collaborative and growth\-oriented mindset * Ability to analyze and understand software requirements, developing test strategies, and test plans * Experience in developing and executing automated tests, using tools like Selenium, Appium, or TestNG * Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or Shell for efficient automation * Familiarity with software development processes, such as Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) * Strong analytical and problem\-solving skills, allowing you to tackle complex technical challenges and provide optimal solutions * Advanced English language skills (Upper\-Intermediate level), enabling effective communication with the team and stakeholders **Nice to have** * Familiarity with other cloud platforms, enabling multi\-cloud strategies * Experience in testing mobile applications, utilizing tools like Appium or XCUITest * Knowledge of performance testing tools and methodologies, enabling efficient load and stress testing * Experience in API development, allowing for efficient collaboration and communication with the development team * Familiarity with test management tools like TestRail or JIRA, facilitating efficient test planning and execution
