




Position Summary: Accounting assistant focused on documentation management, treasury operations, tax support, and payroll processing, serving as the first filter for financial information. Key Highlights: 1. Manages financial documentation and daily recordkeeping. 2. Controls treasury operations, including cash management and bank reconciliation. 3. Supports tax compliance obligations and payroll preparation. Documentation Management and Recordkeeping This forms the foundation of daily work. The assistant serves as the first filter for financial information. Invoice Accrual: Enter supplier invoices and fixed expenses (electricity, water, internet) into the accounting software. Invoice Issuance: Create and send sales invoices to customers, ensuring fiscal data is accurate. Digital and Physical Filing: Organize supporting documents (expenditure vouchers, cash receipts, invoices) to ensure traceability during audits. Treasury Control (Cash and Banking) The assistant ensures that the cash balance reflected in the system matches actual physical cash. Bank Reconciliation: Compare the bank statement with the accounting software records. If even one cent is missing or an extra transaction appears, it must be traced. Petty Cash Management: Administer minor office expenses (stationery, transportation) and process corresponding reimbursements. Accounts Receivable Tracking: Review who owes money to the company and, in many cases, perform proactive collection activities. 3. Tax Compliance Support Although the accountant leads strategy, the assistant prepares supporting inputs. Withholding Tax Calculation: Calculate and record taxes withheld on purchases (VAT, Withholding Tax at Source, etc.). Certificate Preparation: Issue withholding certificates to suppliers. Official Ledger Maintenance: Keep daily journals, general ledgers, and inventory ledgers up to date. 4. Payroll Management In medium or small enterprises, the assistant commonly supports the Human Resources department. Employee Event Registration: Enter employee overtime hours, absences, disabilities, or commissions.
