




Job Summary: A leading company in the riverine and naval sector is seeking Lathe Assistants to support machining, manufacturing, and fitting of parts, ensuring quality and industrial safety. This role is critical to ensuring quality, adherence to schedules, and compliance with industrial safety standards, thereby contributing to the smooth execution of operations. Requirements Technical qualification in Product Manufacturing by Machining or Chip Removal Machining. Minimum 1 year of experience operating lathes, machining, or mechanical maintenance. Valid certification for working at heights. Valued Experience Shipyards and naval/riverine repair workshops. Companies in the metal-mechanical sector. Lathe, machining, and part fabrication workshops. Industrial maintenance and diesel engine companies. Vessel construction, repair, or repowering. Industrial plants with mechanical maintenance processes. Main Responsibilities Assist the Lathe Operator in manufacturing, fitting, and machining of parts. Prepare materials, tools, and supplies. Organize and prepare the workstation before commencing tasks. Support assembly and disassembly of parts on equipment. Perform basic preventive cleaning and maintenance. Collaborate in naval, mechanical repairs, and vessel repowering. Comply with quality, safety, and HSE regulatory standards. Required Competencies Proactivity and continuous learning. Salary and Benefits Base salary: $1,929,000 + Transportation allowance + Statutory benefits. Additional bonuses and benefits. Fixed-term contract for 6 months.
