Job Summary: We are seeking an Accounting Auditor to evaluate and validate accounting, tax, and financial processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies. Key Responsibilities: 1. Evaluate and validate the proper execution of accounting and tax processes. 2. Identify risks and opportunities for improvement in accounting processes. 3. Prepare audit reports with findings and recommendations. We are currently seeking an Accounting Auditor for Barranquilla, requiring a high level of analytical ability and attention to detail. The selected candidate will be responsible for evaluating and validating the proper execution of the organization’s accounting, tax, and financial processes, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and internal policies. Main Responsibilities: 1. Audit accounting records, financial statements, and supporting documentation for transactions. 2. Verify the correct calculation, filing, and payment of taxes (VAT, ICA, and Withholding Tax). 3. Review and validate the submission of exogenous information to the Colombian Tax Authority (DIAN). Supervise compliance with obligations before regulatory entities, including reporting to the Superintendence of Health (where applicable). 4. Identify risks, inconsistencies, and opportunities for improvement in accounting and tax processes. 5. Prepare audit reports containing findings, recommendations, and action plans. 6. Support the implementation and monitoring of internal controls. Requirements: 1. Bachelor’s degree in Public Accounting. 2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting and/or tax auditing. 3. Solid knowledge of taxes: VAT, ICA, Withholding Tax, and Colombian tax regulations. 4. Experience in preparing and reviewing exogenous information. 5.
