Identification of inconsistencies and proposals for improvement. **POSITION INFORMATION** ------------------------- **Position:** Quality Inspector **Department:** Quality **Immediate Supervisor:** Head of Quality **General Summary:** Perform all necessary validations to ensure quality in project development, with the objective of guaranteeing proper operation at the highest achievable quality standard. ### **MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS** **Education:** Technician or Technologist in Automation, Electronics, or Metallurgical-Mechanical Engineering **Experience:** Minimum 2 years in quality, management systems, inspection, projects, operations, or related roles, preferably in companies within the metallurgical-mechanical or heavy machinery sector. **Knowledge:** * Ability to read and understand layout drawings is desirable. * Proficiency in metrology tools. * Logical reasoning skills related to programmable, hydraulic, and automation systems **FUNCTION DESCRIPTION** * Monitor project development. * Review and validate layout drawings with equipment teams. * Conduct operational tests and ensure proper equipment functionality. * Record various tests performed on projects during the production process. * Request and propose evaluation of design modifications and improvements for equipment. * Identify inconsistencies in equipment design and construction. * Provide feedback to other processes regarding improvement opportunities identified within the department. * Ensure equipment closure by completing all required inspections. * Document and graphically record reviews and the final equipment status.
