Strengthening of technical and practical competencies. **POSITION INFORMATION** ------------------------- **Position:** Machining Apprentice **Department:** Internal Manufacturing **Immediate Supervisor:** Head of Internal Manufacturing **General Summary:** Support manufacturing and machining processes for parts by performing preparation, measurement, dimensional control, and material verification activities under the supervision of technical staff. Assist in basic operation of conventional or CNC machines, preventive maintenance, and workplace organization and cleanliness. Comply with quality, safety, and environmental standards while strengthening technical and practical competencies in the production environment. **MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS** ---------------------- **Education:** Student pursuing a Technical or Technologist degree in CNC Machinery, Machining, or related fields, currently in the productive phase. **Experience:** NA **Knowledge:** * Basic metrology knowledge is desirable. * Familiarity with conventional lathes and milling machines is desirable. **FUNCTION DESCRIPTION** -------------------------------- Provide support to the Machining Department in functions assigned by the immediate supervisor.
