You will guide FastAPI services, background jobs, lake and star\-schema modeling, CI/CD with GitHub Actions, and IaC with Bicep, AWS CDK, or Terraform; apply today **Responsibilities** * Guide and maintain Python backend services and background tasks using FastAPI * Optimize data processing routines with Pandas, Polars, openpyxl, and DuckDB * Shape and improve data architectures, including data lakes, medallion layers, and star schemas * Establish and grow CI/CD automation with GitHub Actions or equivalent technologies * Manage Azure deployments and monitoring using Container Apps, Azure Storage, Service Bus, and SignalR * Define and deliver infrastructure provisioning through Bicep, AWS CDK, or Terraform * Enable teams to adopt GitHub Copilot and Claude Code to increase development efficiency * Coordinate across functions to ensure reliability, scalability, and performance requirements are met * Address complex engineering and architectural challenges aligned with standards and evolving trends * Lead monitoring initiatives and ensure quick resolution of key issues to maintain system resilience **Requirements** * Extensive Python expertise (7\+ years) developing FastAPI\-based web services and managing background processes * At least 2 years of leadership experience in engineering or architecture functions * Advanced knowledge of Pandas, Polars, openpyxl, and DuckDB for efficient data processing * Proficiency in implementing medallion layers, data lakes, and star schemas within complex data architectures * Extensive experience scaling CI/CD workflows via GitHub Actions or similar solutions * Proven expertise across Azure Container Apps, Azure Storage, Service Bus, and SignalR * In\-depth understanding of infrastructure\-as\-code tools, with advanced project delivery using Bicep, AWS CDK, or Terraform * Demonstrated capability applying GitHub Copilot and Claude Code to enhance software development workflows * Fluent English skills at a C1 level (Advanced) for collaboration in a multilingual environment **Nice to have** * Expertise in Airflow, dbt, and Streamlit for orchestration and data transformations * Knowledge of distributed processing, asynchronous workflows, and enterprise messaging patterns * Proficiency in Snowflake with streams, tasks, pipes, stored procedures, and time travel use cases * Competency in .NET web development for legacy front\-end solutions built in .NET Core * Skills in Angular or Next.js web development
