Job Summary: We are seeking a QA Engineer to design, execute, and automate data quality and technical tests on cloud platforms (AWS), ensuring the reliability and consistency of solutions. The selected candidate will participate in defining, executing, and automating technical and data quality tests, ensuring the reliability, traceability, and consistency of solutions deployed on AWS cloud platforms. **Role Responsibilities** * Design test strategies and plans for data ingestion, ETLs, data products, and deployments. * Define acceptance criteria for technical, functional, and UAT testing. * Develop SQL queries for validations, reconciliations, and reconciliation between source systems and data platforms. * Execute data quality tests across dimensions such as completeness, uniqueness, consistency, integrity, accuracy, and timeliness. * Automate data testing using Python and libraries such as Pytest, Great Expectations, PyDeequ, or similar. * Validate orchestrations, dependencies, scheduling, alerts, and monitoring of data pipelines. * Manage evidence, defect tracking, traceability, and incidents to closure. ✅ **Job Requirements** **Professional Experience** Experience in data QA, functional testing, or validation of data platforms. **QA & Data Quality** * Design of test cases, acceptance criteria, and defect tracking. * Execution of functional, technical, and data quality tests. **SQL & Data Validation** * Development of SQL queries for data validation, reconciliation, and analysis. **Automation** * Test automation using Python. * Use of tools such as Pytest, Great Expectations, PyDeequ, or similar. **Data Platforms & Cloud (AWS)** * Knowledge of ETL/ELT processes and data pipelines. * Familiarity with AWS environments and services used in data platforms. ✅ **Desirable** * AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner. * Practical knowledge of AWS services in data environments.
