Job Summary: Injection molding operator responsible for organizing the workplace, managing equipment, analyzing work orders, supplying materials, and operating injection molding machines. Operation and verification of injection molding machines * **DIRECT CONTRACT WITH THE COMPANY FOR A FIXED TERM** * **12-HOUR ROTATING SHIFTS FROM MONDAY TO FRIDAY (OCCASIONAL SATURDAY WORK)** **☑ Job Responsibilities:** * Receive the shift handover from the previous injection molding operator. * Organize the workplace and manage equipment, devices, or elements required for the production process. * Analyze the work order, interpret technical information involved in the production process, and organize the workplace to commence operations. * Supply plastic material; control the mold, tooling, and other tools required to mount the mold onto the machine. * Manage molds from the storage area to initiate production of a new batch of parts, verify their correspondence with the parts to be produced, and assess their overall condition of use. * Manage tools, fixtures, or devices used for mold securing, transportation, and lifting. * Manage plastic material to process pigments or dyes, additives, lubricants, metallic inserts, or plastic-combined reinforcements incorporated into the part to be produced. * Prepare plastic material for processing in the injection molding machine according to the work instruction. * Provide support in the material pre-drying area. * Start up and verify the operation of the injection molding machine and its connected peripheral equipment. * Input processing parameter data into the injection molding machine’s control system according to the setup sheet. * Load, purge, and inject plastic material during the setup phase. * Load prepared material into the hopper of the injection molding machine under conditions suitable for processing. * Purge and clean the injection unit of the injection molding machine. * During the setup phase, inject material, inspect the resulting parts, and readjust parameters to meet requirements. * Perform other duties inherent to the position as assigned by the immediate supervisor.
