Role Summary** The Sales Representative plays a key role in transforming global steel trade by driving adoption and growth of our AI\-powered digital commodities marketplace. This position manages complete end\-to\-end sales process prospecting, onboarding, negotiation, deal execution, and post\-sale follow\-up while fostering strong, trust\-based relationships with clients and suppliers worldwide. In addition, to promoting the platform, the Sales Representative delivers **personalized support and consultation services**, helping clients navigate the marketplace, optimize pricing strategies, and enhance their steel trading operations. By leveraging real\-time data, AI\-driven insights, and global market intelligence, this role identifies growth opportunities, improves customer outcomes, and contributes to strategic decision\-making. The Sales Representative collaborates closely with Operations, Logistics, Finance, Compliance, and Product teams to ensure seamless transactions, elevate customer experience, and support the overall performance and expansion of the marketplace. **Key Responsibilities** **1\. End\-to\-End Marketplace Sales Management** * Manage the complete sales cycle on the AI\-powered commodities marketplace, including lead generation, client onboarding, negotiation, order execution, and delivery coordination. * Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and suppliers, ensuring a seamless, transparent, and efficient digital transaction experience. * Use marketplace tools, AI\-driven insights, and analytics to monitor offers, understand pricing trends, and optimize deal structures for clients. **2\. Business Development \& Growth** * Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the platform’s user base and grow sales across long and flat steel products. * Explore cross\-border opportunities by connecting Latin American clients with premium suppliers in Europe, Asia, and other global markets. * Apply data\-driven insights and market intelligence to uncover new segments, emerging demand, and strategic growth opportunities. **3\. Client Relationship Management \& Personalized Support** * Build and maintain strong, long\-term relationships with clients and suppliers, prioritizing trust, responsiveness, and exceptional service. * Provide personalized consultation and advisory support to help clients navigate the platform, understand market conditions, and optimize their steel procurement and trading strategy. * Deliver an elevated customer experience through tailored solutions, real\-time pricing insights, digital tools, and proactive, value\-added support. **4\. Collaboration \& Coordination** * Partner with Operations, Logistics, Finance, and Compliance to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant execution of all orders. * Work closely with Product and Technology teams by providing client feedback and market insights to improve marketplace features, AI capabilities, and user experience. **5\. Market Intelligence, Analytics \& Reporting** * Stay up to date on global steel market dynamics, competitor activity, and commodity price trends to support strategic decision\-making. * Prepare sales forecasts, pipeline updates, performance reports, and insights for commercial leadership. * Utilize marketplace analytics to track KPIs, conversion rates, deal performance, and customer behavior. **6\. Innovation, Impact \& Client Enablement** * Promote the adoption of digital and AI\-powered solutions that enhance efficiency, pricing transparency, and smart decision\-making in steel trade. * Suggest innovative approaches to improve platform engagement, increase transaction volume, and strengthen client outcomes. * Represent the company at industry events, virtual forums, and online communities to strengthen brand presence and communicate the value of the platform and consulting services. **4\. Required Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Business, International Trade, Marketing, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. * 3–5 years of B2B sales experience, ideally in steel, commodities, supply chain, industrial products, or digital marketplaces. * Proven ability to manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and negotiation to closing and post\-sale support. * Experience working with international suppliers or clients, preferably in Latin America, Europe, or Asia. * Strong analytical skills and proficiency in CRM tools, Excel/Google Sheets, and data\-driven decision\-making. * Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills, with a client\-centric consultative approach. * Ability to understand and explain AI\-powered tools, digital platforms, or technology\-driven solutions to clients. * Fluency in Spanish and English (Portuguese is a plus) and willingness to travel when required.
