Position Summary: We are seeking a Distribution Assistant to optimize merchandise distribution, ensuring delivery control and reduction of returns. Key Highlights: 1. The primary purpose of this role is to efficiently optimize merchandise distribution across our distributable channel, ensuring delivery control, reduction of returns, and serving as the main communication link between drivers and the commercial team. Main Responsibilities: Route Tracking and Control: Monitor delivery and distribution operations to and from specific destinations to detect losses or delays along the route. Order Consolidation: Receive orders, verify their correct transmission, and assign them by geographic zones to optimize vehicle capacity. Incident Management: Promptly handle and resolve incidents reported by customers and carriers through call triangulation with the commercial team. Loading and Appointment Generation: Schedule loading times with carriers, request manifests (weight, destination, and freight), and schedule delivery appointments at major supermarkets via virtual platforms, emails, or phone calls. Profile Requirements: Education: Completed high school diploma. Experience: Minimum 1 year of certified experience in similar roles within the logistics sector or distribution operations. Technical Knowledge: Delivery/return management, familiarity with nomenclature, Excel proficiency, and foundational knowledge of logistics information systems (ERPs or WMSs). Working Conditions: Base Salary: $1,919,000 + Statutory benefits. Additional Benefits: Food allowance of $220,000. Contract Type: Indefinite-term contract (job stability).
