Ongoing coordination with drivers and operations VACANCY – FLEET MAINTENANCE MANAGER Location: Celta Trade Park Industrial Park, Funza – Cundinamarca At Encoexpres, we are currently looking for a Fleet Maintenance Manager responsible for ensuring the availability, safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance of the company's vehicle fleet through planning, execution, and monitoring of preventive and corrective maintenance, vehicle documentation control, supplier management, PESV compliance, and ongoing coordination with drivers and operations. Requirements Academic Qualifications * Technician or professional degree in Automotive Mechanics, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related fields. * Additional training in fleet maintenance, PESV, or transportation management is desirable. Experience * Minimum 5 years of experience in transportation fleet maintenance and management. * Experience with light, medium, and heavy vehicles: NHR, NKR, NQR, NPR, NFR, single-axle trucks, mini-buses, tractor-trailers, and electric vehicles. * Experience coordinating workshops, suppliers, and operational staff. * Knowledge of claims management, insurance policies, and insurance companies. Knowledge * Preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance. * Diesel and gasoline automotive mechanics. * Brake systems, suspension, steering, drivetrain, and fuel injection systems. * Vehicle documentation control. * PESV and road safety. * Supplier and spare parts management. * Maintenance indicators and operational costs. Main Responsibilities * Plan and control fleet maintenance activities. * Monitor the mechanical and operational status of each vehicle. * Track expiration dates of SOAT, mechanical-technical inspections, insurance policies, operating permits, and other required documents. * Verify and audit pre-operational checks performed by drivers. * Manage mechanical incidents, recurring failures, and improvement opportunities. * Coordinate maintenance activities with the Operations department to minimize downtime. * Manage workshops, suppliers, spare parts, and specialized services. * Lead the maintenance component within the PESV. * Monitor accidents, claims, and procedures with insurance companies. * Maintain up-to-date vehicle life records and individual vehicle folders. * Generate indicators and reports on availability, costs, and maintenance compliance.
