Job Summary: Machine operator responsible for operating, setting up, and maintaining bag sealers, ensuring product quality and production recordkeeping. Key Responsibilities: 1. Operation and adjustment of plastic bag sealing machinery. 2. Rigorous quality control of the finished product. 3. Preventive maintenance and safety compliance. Machine Operation: Operate high-speed plastic bag sealers or foot-operated sealers, adjusting parameters such as temperature, sealing pressure, and sealing time according to material type (polypropylene, laminates, etc.). Setup and Assembly: Prepare machinery at the start of each shift, including changing dimensions (dies/jaws) for different bag specifications, ensuring materials (plastic rolls) match the production order. Quality Control: Inspect the finished product throughout the shift to verify compliance with sealing standards, dimensions (length, width, gussets), printing, perforations, and strength; remove defective products. Production Recordkeeping: Complete daily production reports, quality control logs, and occasionally OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) records. Packaging and Labeling: Count, package, box, and label the final product according to technical specifications. Preventive Maintenance: Perform machine cleaning, lubrication, and minor adjustments to ensure proper operation and extend equipment lifespan.
