This person will be responsible for leading end-to-end AWS solution design (architecture, security, governance, cost management) and guiding technical implementation in alignment with banking/insurance standards, playing a key role within the organization and actively contributing to high-impact projects. **Ideal Profile** * Degree in Systems Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or related fields. * 7+ years in cloud; 4+ years in AWS in senior/architecture roles. * Knowledge of architecture, security, data, infrastructure, AI. * Proven experience in roles such as Senior Solutions Architect. * Banking/financial application solution architecture. * **Cloud** platforms (AWS, Azure, or others). * **Cloud security controls** and evidence required for audits. * Knowledge or experience in AI governance and processes within financial organizations. * Advanced proficiency in: **S3 (Standard/Glacier/Deep Archive), lifecycle policies, restore jobs**, bucket permissions and policies. * Event-driven architectures: **SNS/SQS, Lambda, Step Functions**, asynchronous and notification patterns. * Secure service exposure: **API Gateway / ALB**, authentication/authorization, access control. * Observability: **CloudWatch (logs/metrics/alarms), CloudTrail**, auditing. * Security: **KMS**, end-to-end encryption, compliance controls (minimum for financial sector). * Infrastructure as code: **Terraform / CloudFormation** (preferably Terraform). **Key Responsibilities** * Gather technical requirements for the workflow (MP3 ingestion + Glacier restore + front-end notification). * Design target architecture: **ingestion**, **storage**, **lifecycle**, **restoration**, **request API**, **notification**, **auditing**, **observability**. * Define security model: IAM least-privilege, encryption (KMS), bucket access controls, environment segregation (dev/qa/prod), logging and traceability. * Define data and retention strategy: **lifecycle** policies, storage/restore costs, recovery windows, restoration SLA. * Establish implementation standards: naming, tagging, accounts, networks (if applicable), VPC endpoints, etc. * Deliver estimates and execution plan (roadmap), and coordinate handover/runbooks. * Support frontend integration (API contracts, notification events, asynchronous handling). **Typical Deliverables** * HLD/LLD (high/low-level architecture), diagrams, decisions (ADR). * Security and governance design (roles, KMS, logging). * Cost strategy (storage + restores). * Implementation and testing plan (including restoration and notification testing). **Key Soft Skills** * **Strong communication skills** and teamwork. * **Assertive communication** with technical teams and business units. * **Organization and time management** to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. * **Proactivity, autonomy**, and results orientation. * **Problem-solving ability** in complex and critical environments. * **Adaptability to hybrid technology environments** (legacy + modern). * **Judgment** to identify improvements and anticipate issues. * **Knowledge of Agile methodologies** (Scrum, Kanban, Lean, etc.). * **Knowledge of** Jira **Requirements*** **Essential Skills** * Advanced proficiency in: **S3 (Standard/Glacier/Deep Archive), lifecycle policies, restore jobs**, bucket permissions and policies. * Event-driven architectures: **SNS/SQS, Lambda, Step Functions**, asynchronous and notification patterns. * Secure service exposure: **API Gateway / ALB**, authentication/authorization, access control. * Observability: **CloudWatch (logs/metrics/alarms), CloudTrail**, auditing. * Security: **KMS**, end-to-end encryption, compliance controls (minimum for financial sector). * Infrastructure as code: **Terraform / CloudFormation** (preferably Terraform). * Prior experience in **banking/insurance** (desirable due to security and audit standards). * Familiarity with Agile methodologies: Scrum, Kanban, Lean. * **Experience and Certifications** * 7+ years in cloud; 4+ years in AWS in senior/architecture roles. * Preferred: **AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional** (or equivalent). **Work Modality**: Hybrid — Must reside in Bogotá **Additional Information** We offer you the opportunity to work on challenging, high-impact projects alongside a team of professionals passionate about technology and continuous development. **If you’re ready to take the next step in your career and join a company that values your talent, we want to meet you!** Submit your CV and apply today.
