Responsibilities include preparing and loading materials, adjusting and operating the machine, performing quality inspections to detect defects, and ensuring that the product meets technical specifications. Main responsibilities Machine operation: Starting, operating, and stopping the extrusion machine, as well as making adjustments and changing molds or dies. Material preparation: Weighing and mixing resins, colorants, and other chemicals required for the extrusion process. Material loading: Placing heavy materials into the mixer and ensuring the machine has sufficient raw material for operation. Quality control: Inspecting the finished product (extruded cable) to ensure quality and detect possible defects or irregularities in the material and equipment. Maintenance: Performing minor adjustments and reporting maintenance issues to the supervisor to ensure proper equipment functioning. Process monitoring: Reporting relevant information to supervisors and other personnel to maintain quality and effective communication between shifts. Skills and knowledge Experience operating extrusion machines. Knowledge of thermoplastic materials and the extrusion process. Ability to perform visual quality inspections. Capability to prepare and mix materials. Proficiency in handling manual tools. Problem-solving and critical thinking skills. Basic computer knowledge, in some cases.
