**Project and Role Overview** ----------------------------- We are looking for a Senior Technical Lead to join a fully dedicated team transforming talent acquisition through an AI\-driven approach that goes beyond traditional resume evaluation. The client’s platform is a video game\-based assessment tool designed to support the sensory needs of neurodiverse job seekers, uncover hidden abilities, and match candidates to roles using proprietary psychometrics, gamification, and advanced AI. This role serves as the primary technical leader for a cross\-platform application utilizing a Flutter frontend, Firebase backend, and BigQuery data warehouse. The roadmap includes implementing RAG and Knowledge Graph capabilities to enhance psychometric scoring and candidate matching. This is a hands\-on leadership position requiring architectural ownership, technical decision\-making, team mentoring, and direct code contribution. **Responsibilities** -------------------- * Lead technical architecture and implementation for a cross platform Flutter application with a web first approach and future mobile support * Design and implement advanced Firebase backend integrations * Collaborate with data science teams on RAG and Knowledge Graph integrations connected to a BigQuery infrastructure * Define and promote best practices for Flutter development including patterns used in FlutterFlow * Mentor team members in Dart, Flutter, and Firebase development * Participate in architecture discussions with the client CTO and Katapult engineering leadership * Improve code quality through code reviews, testing strategies, and documentation **Requirements** ---------------- * Five or more years of software development experience * Three or more years of hands on Flutter and Dart development with production applications * Strong experience working with Firebase including Firestore and Cloud Functions * Experience delivering cross platform applications from a single codebase for web and mobile * Background leading technical teams or acting as a senior individual contributor * Familiarity with ML and AI integrations or willingness to collaborate with data scientists on RAG and Knowledge Graph components * Fluent English communication skills * Availability for a full time engagement of one hundred sixty hours per month **Nice to Have** ---------------- * Experience working with BigQuery or similar data warehousing tools * Background in gamification, HR tech, or assessment platforms * Familiarity with FlutterFlow * Experience with psychometric data or scoring systems **Engagement Details** ---------------------- * Full time dedicated role at one hundred sixty hours per month * Long term engagement beginning with a six month MVP phase * Direct collaboration with the client CTO and Katapult engineering leadership **What we offer:** ------------------ * We believe in empowering our team with flexibility, competitive benefits, and a supportive work environment.
