QA Tester Functional (COPY)

Job Summary: We are seeking a technically skilled and quality-oriented Junior QA Engineer to join agile teams and contribute to the full software testing lifecycle. Key Highlights: 1. Design and execute functional, regression, and integration test cases. 2. Validate data integrity using SQL in relational and non-relational databases. 3. Support testing in containerized environments and cloud-based environments. We seek a Junior QA Engineer with strong technical focus and quality orientation, capable of integrating into agile teams and contributing to the complete software testing lifecycle in high-availability environments. The ideal candidate combines functional testing skills with knowledge of infrastructure and systems administration. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Design and execute functional, regression, and integration test cases for web applications and backend services. * Manage the defect lifecycle in tools such as Jira, documenting findings and tracking them to resolution. * Validate data integrity through SQL queries on relational and non-relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or others). * Support CI/CD processes by participating in deployment pipeline reviews and monitoring test environments. * Analyze logs and monitor services in Linux environments to diagnose and report failures in QA and production environments. * Support testing in containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud-based environments. * Participate in agile ceremonies (e.g., Scrum) and actively collaborate with development and operations teams. * Provide technical support during User Acceptance Testing (UAT). **Requirements and Qualifications** * Technical degree or university degree in Systems Engineering, Software Analysis and Development, or related fields. * 1–2 years of experience in QA roles, technical support, systems administration, or software development. **Required Knowledge** * Functional, regression, and UAT testing. * SQL and database management (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or equivalents). * Linux: basic administration, log analysis, Bash script execution. * Management tools: Jira, Confluence. * Fundamental CI/CD concepts: pipelines, version control with Git. * Container fundamentals: Docker and/or Kubernetes. * Scrum methodology / agile teams. * English B1 or higher (technical reading and basic communication). **Desired Knowledge** * Scripting in Python or Bash for QA task automation. * Monitoring with tools such as Zabbix or equivalents. * Cloud infrastructure fundamentals (GCP, AWS, or Azure). * Jenkins or other deployment tool experience. * ISTQB Foundation Level certification (or currently pursuing it). **Additional Information** Looking for a place where your ideas shine?
