Recognized globally as the benchmark for quality and integrity, SGS employs over 95,000 professionals and operates a network of more than 2,400 offices and laboratories worldwide. **Job Description** **POSITION OBJECTIVE** Perform sample collection and preparation tasks for laboratory analysis according to established procedures and/or direct instructions from a supervisor, and conduct rapid analyses. 1.\- Ensure/Guarantee laboratory sample preparation for analysis, including but not limited to sample reduction, homogenization, splitting of received samples, pulverization to obtain analytical samples, and sample drying. 2.\- Ensure delivery of prepared samples to the analysis area for testing, accompanied by the corresponding documentation. 3.\- Ensure recording of relevant data for each sample in the archive and identification of samples in the applicable Operating System (e.g., Solser, CClas), per established procedures, keeping records updated. 4.\- Verify daily the calibration status and operational condition of equipment and instruments to confirm compliance with specified parameters, perform necessary controls during testing execution, ensure required conditions are met for testing, and safeguard the quality of analyses conducted in the laboratory. 5.\- Maintain order and cleanliness in the laboratory throughout all activities performed, and comply with laboratory safety regulations, protecting sample and/or process quality under analysis, as well as preserving the environment through proper waste handling. **Requirements** * Academic Qualification: Mining Technician / Laboratory Technician / High School Graduate / Personnel trained within the organization. * Experience: Preferred but not mandatory—some experience in inorganic sample preparation, laboratory analysis, and/or quality control. * Integrity. * Order and quality orientation. * Teamwork. **Additional Information** Salary: 1,803,000 Contract Type: Project-Based Employment
