We are seeking a Power BI Engineer to join our data team and play a key role in developing and maintaining effective business intelligence solutions. In this role, you will work closely with stakeholders to understand data needs, design and build Power BI reports and dashboards, and turn data into actionable insights. You will collaborate with engineers and analysts to ensure quality data integration and support the ongoing improvement of our reporting processes. **Responsibilities** * Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into Power BI dashboards and reports. * Design, build, and maintain Power BI data models and visualizations, applying best practices in DAX and data modeling. * Develop and optimize SQL queries to source and prepare data for BI solutions. * Support the integration of data from various sources (such as Azure Synapse, Snowflake, BigQuery, etc.). * Conduct analytical investigations to provide insights into business performance and trends. * Ensure BI solutions are reliable, accurate, and meet user needs; maintain documentation for reports and dashboards. * Assist with troubleshooting and performance tuning of Power BI datasets and reports. * Contribute to the improvement of BI processes, data quality, and reporting standards. * Communicate findings to both technical and non\-technical team members. **Requirements** * 3–4 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or a related field. * Solid experience designing and developing Power BI dashboards and using DAX for data modeling. * Proficiency in SQL (e.g., T\-SQL, PostgreSQL). * Exposure to data warehouse/lakehouse platforms (Azure Synapse, Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, etc.). * Good understanding of basic data modeling and ETL/ELT concepts. * Ability to work effectively with business stakeholders and translate their needs into BI solutions. * Strong analytical and problem\-solving skills. * Good communication skills in English (Upper\-Intermediate or higher). **Nice to Have** * Experience with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate), Azure Data Factory, or Databricks. * Experience with Python or R for data analysis. * Familiarity with A/B testing or experimentation. * BI certification (e.g., Microsoft PL\-300/DA\-100\). * Experience working in Agile environments. **We offer\*:** * Flexible working format \- remote, office\-based or flexible * A competitive salary and good compensation package * Personalized career growth * Professional development tools (mentorship program, tech talks and trainings, centers of excellence, and more) * Active tech communities with regular knowledge sharing * Education reimbursement * Memorable anniversary presents * Corporate events and team buildings * Other location\-specific benefits * not applicable for freelancers
