A prominent company in the electrical sector is seeking an Electrical Engineer or Industrial Engineer to serve as the responsible party for inventory control and administration in electrical grid construction projects. We seek a professional with planning, analytical, and control capabilities, focused on ensuring proper material management, resource traceability, and optimization of logistics processes on site. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring material availability for project activity execution, overseeing appropriate resource utilization and compliance with established procedures. Main Responsibilities: * Administer and control inventory of electrical materials designated for project execution. * Track material receipts, issuances, transfers, and consumption on site. * Verify proper material receipt by validating quantities, technical specifications, and condition of received items. * Ensure material traceability from warehouse entry through field installation. * Prepare and periodically update inventory reports, consumption reports, stock levels, and supply projections. * Conduct periodic physical inventories and control audits to ensure reliability of recorded information. * Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, third-party oversight (interventoría), and construction teams regarding material requirements for scheduled activities. * Control appropriate usage of high-value materials such as cabling, transformers, poles, hardware, electrical panels, protection devices, metering equipment, and other components associated with electrical networks. * Identify discrepancies between physical inventory and system records, performing corresponding analyses and corrective actions. * Generate management indicators related to inventory turnover, consumption, losses, surpluses, and shortages. * Participate in logistical planning for on-site material storage and distribution. * Verify compliance with internal procedures for material storage, custody, and handling. * Support project closeout processes through reconciliation of installed materials, surpluses, and recoverable materials. * Coordinate disposal and return of unused materials per project guidelines. Required Profile: Professional in Industrial Engineering or Electrical Engineering, with experience in inventory control, warehousing, logistics, or material administration in electrical grid construction projects, substations, energy infrastructure, or engineering projects. Employment Conditions: * Salary to be agreed upon based on candidate’s experience and profile. * Direct employment via indefinite-term contract. * Full statutory social benefits. * On-site work mode. * Working hours: Monday to Friday and Saturday mornings (schedule negotiable according to project needs and selected candidate’s profile).
