Key Responsibilities: 1. Lead the commercial and operational strategy of the point of sale. 2. Conduct competitor visits to strengthen competitiveness. 3. Manage the sales process, handle objections, and close deals with a commercial mindset. A major RETAIL sector company based in Itagüí municipality is seeking a Commercial Advisor Leader for Caldas municipality. Responsibilities: ? Evaluate daily sales results and make data-driven decisions to improve commercial KPIs. ? Analyze point-of-sale management indicators and define corrective strategies. ? Plan and implement commercial actions aimed at achieving established sales targets. ? Submit proposals to improve operational efficiency and optimize point-of-sale expenses. ? Conduct periodic competitor visits to analyze the market and execute actions that strengthen competitiveness. ? Submit management reports to the immediate supervisor and attend scheduled meetings. ? Execute the sales process effectively—including customer approach, product presentation, objection handling, and deal closure—with a commercial mindset. ? Provide clear and comprehensive information about store products, including features, benefits, and commercial terms. ? Serve customers in person and via telephone, including specific sales through agreements and partner platforms. ? Identify merchandise prices and record transactions using available cash register systems and electronic devices. ? Accept payments in cash, checks, or credit/debit cards, and validate credit limits where applicable. ? Collect installment payments corresponding to credit sales. ? Package merchandise, issue receipts, and ensure correct change is returned to customers. ? Calculate total payments at the end of each shift and reconcile recorded sales. ? Record and report daily cash discrepancies detected during cash closing—such as shortages, overages, or expenses. ? Conduct unscheduled cash audits periodically. ? Review daily cash reconciliation reports submitted by cashiers and billing staff upon store closing.
