Proficiency in using manual and electric tools A reputable construction company requires a Rebar Cage Assistant for its team, with a minimum of one (1) year of experience in construction activities and handling of reinforcing steel. · Academic qualification: Primary education or academic high school diploma, graduated or not yet graduated. · Job requirements: Experience in construction activities, especially in reinforcing steel assembly. Basic knowledge of cutting, bending, and tying rebar. Proficiency in using manual and electric tools (e.g., shear, bender, grinder, among others). Basic interpretation of structural drawings (desirable). Willingness to work on-site and comply with industrial safety regulations. · Job mission: Assist in the fabrication, assembly, and installation of reinforcement structures (rebar cages) according to drawings and technical specifications, ensuring quality, safety, and adherence to project timelines. · Responsibilities: Assist in cutting, bending, and assembling steel rebar per drawings. Support the foreman in installing and tying reinforcement structures. Transport, organize, and prepare materials and tools. Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work area. Inspect material conditions and report any issues. Follow instructions from the foreman or site supervisor. · Salary: COP $1,750,905 + transportation allowance + current statutory benefits. Contract type: Project-based or labor contract. Working hours: Monday to Thursday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; Friday until 4:00 p.m.; Saturday, 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Work modality: On-site.
