Job Summary: A leading company in the metal-mechanical and engineering sector is seeking a Quotation Engineer to structure proposals, analyze sales budgets, and monitor commercial forecasts. A leading metal-mechanical and engineering company, headquartered in Itagüí (Antioquia), requires a Quotation Engineer to join its team. The role involves structuring commercial proposals, analyzing and building sales budgets, and monitoring achievement of the company’s commercial forecasts. Job Requirements Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering. Experience: Minimum 3 years in similar roles related to commercial proposal development, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. Desirable experience in metal-mechanical, industrial, or engineering sectors. Knowledge and tool proficiency: Microsoft Office (intermediate-to-advanced Excel). CAD tools. Knowledge of proposal structuring, cost analysis, and commercial CRM management. Main Responsibilities Structure and prepare commercial proposals in accordance with departmental guidelines. Support sales budget planning and execution. Request and manage supplier quotations for budget preparation. Monitor commercial forecast and performance against KPIs. Coordinate with engineering and marketing departments to obtain necessary technical and visual information for proposals. Generate differentiated value propositions to enhance competitiveness and profitability. Maintain updated customer databases and register opportunities in the CRM. Working Conditions Salary: COP $4,000,000 + social benefits + commissions (COP 2,000,000). Work schedule: Monday–Thursday: 6:30 a.m. – 4:15 p.m. Friday: 6:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Work location: Itagüí, Antioquia.
