Warehouse Assistant · LATINCO, a company in the construction and road infrastructure sector, is seeking a Warehouse Assistant to support processes including receipt, storage, inventory control, and dispatch of materials and supplies required for project execution. Required Profile · High school diploma. Minimum 1 year of experience in loading/unloading goods, inventory management, logistics, warehousing, or related roles. Proficiency in office and technological tools, including Microsoft Office. Experience in construction sites or infrastructure projects is desirable. Basic knowledge of inventory control and material handling. Main Responsibilities · Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials and supplies. Verify that received items match purchase orders and other supporting documents. Check quantities and condition of received materials. Record daily material receipts and issuances in the system. Maintain an updated and reliable warehouse inventory. Properly organize warehouses and storage areas. Manage warehouse receipts and associated documentation for supplier invoicing. Record delivery notes and material transfers between project sites. Report incidents related to assets, transfers, and decommissioning of assigned equipment or items. Maintain ongoing communication with the procurement department to address requests and incidents. Support inventory control and audit processes. Ensure appropriate storage of materials, substances, and products according to their characteristics and risk levels. Perform loading, unloading, and transportation of materials as required. Maintain appropriate standards of order, cleanliness, and safety in the warehouse. Use assigned personal protective equipment and tools appropriately.
