At Colombina, we are seeking a **Warehouse Assistant**. The role focuses on ensuring the quantity and quality of packaging materials and raw material inventories to guarantee the availability of physical inventories in optimal condition for production, while complying with company procedures and policies. **Responsibilities:** * Perform cyclic inventory counts in the raw materials warehouse (packaging materials, raw materials, and supplies) to ensure consistency between SAP system data and physical stock levels, promptly reporting any discrepancies found. * Prepare production orders and requests from other departments, completing documentation to ensure material traceability, and deliver materials to requesting departments in compliance with quality parameters, requested quantities, and timely delivery, adhering to BPM, 5S, and HACCP standards. * Record production orders—including additions and returns—in the SAP information system, ensuring accuracy of both physical and virtual inventory records. * Receive goods from various company suppliers (raw materials, packaging materials, supplies, and spare parts), verifying that received quantities, expiration dates, and batch numbers match supplier delivery notes and quality certificates. * Store raw materials, packaging materials, and supplies appropriately, ensuring proper inventory rotation per internal procedures to prevent material expiration, while meeting quality and industrial safety standards. * Report shortages of materials in the main warehouse as well as potential expirations, ensuring uninterrupted operations for the production area and other departments, avoiding unplanned stoppages and/or process delays. * Carry out daily housekeeping and cleaning activities in the raw materials warehouse and other warehouses under the department’s responsibility, as well as at the loading dock, properly and promptly completing established forms for tracking these activities. * Take daily temperature and humidity readings using thermohygrometers installed in designated areas, and accurately and promptly record them in established forms. * Ensure proper use of company-provided work tools, including stackers, pallet jacks, ladders, conveyor belts, freight elevators, and lighting fixtures. * Correctly use personal protective equipment (PPE) supplied by the company to mitigate health-related risks. * Label and identify materials, with special attention to products to comply with ISO and BASC standards. * Maintain a clean and organized warehouse, ensuring its safety—including personal appearance—while complying with BPM and 5S standards. * Participate in implementing the company’s Integrated Management Systems Policy and ensure compliance with applicable Management Systems Programs and Procedures within the area and position. * Perform other duties inherent to the position. **Benefits:** * Your base salary will be $1,719,000. * Statutory transportation allowance: $200,000. * Corporate benefits. * All statutory benefits. * Indefinite-term employment contract. * Extra-legal bonus equivalent to 15 days’ salary. **Profile:** * High school diploma (Bachiller). * Knowledge of BPM and HACCP systems. * Preferably experienced in picking, receiving, dispatching goods, and inventory management. * Minimum six months of experience in warehouse or procurement areas, including cash handling.
