We are seeking a **Procurement Assistant** to work with our **Andercol** brand in **Medellín**. **Andercol** is a company with over 55 years of market experience, a leader in the chemical and industrial sector. We specialize in developing sustainable resins and chemical solutions that transform industries such as construction, infrastructure, and packaging, with a strong commercial presence and footprint across the Andean region and Latin America. **Job Mission:** To establish solid operational-level relationships with suppliers and efficiently manage national purchase orders for Resins Colombia for direct materials, goods, and services — from purchase order generation through to satisfactory delivery (quality, quantity, price, and documentation) at the plant and/or designated location. **Responsibilities:** * Timely generate purchase orders within previously agreed negotiations; monitor these orders to ensure timely and quality dispatch (specifications, quantity, documentation, dates, etc.); and report any issues identified during purchase order monitoring. * Resolve dispatch, quality, or price discrepancy issues with suppliers at the first level; escalate to Planning, Procurement, Sourcing, or Quality departments if unresolved. * Maintain continuous communication with Sourcing, Transportation, and Logistics to ensure effective delivery and receipt of materials at the plant. * Guarantee compliance with the company’s procurement policies and negotiated terms with suppliers. * Timely close fulfilled and completed open purchase orders. * Monitor and manage assigned KPIs. * Conduct quarterly supplier performance reviews using the OTIF (On-Time In-Full) vendor scorecard. * Verify that every purchase has its corresponding invoice, is properly accounted for, and request aging reports from suppliers to ensure timely payments. * Submit Internal Requests (IRs) when services are not charged to a purchase order. * Revalidate invoices in case of price or quantity discrepancies (Workflow) and release purchase orders for quality approval (AP). * Update SAP delivery dates for purchase orders as instructed by Planning — whether accelerated or delayed. * Validate freight charges with the Logistics team and associate them with purchase orders where applicable, when collection is handled by ADC **Academic Qualification:** Technical or technological degree in Administration, International Trade, or fields related to procurement. **Experience:** 1 year of procurement experience, preferably in raw materials. **Knowledge:** Intermediate Excel **Location:** Medellín, Colombia We’d love to meet you — apply now!
