At Colombina, we are seeking an **Environmental Management Analyst**. The role focuses on implementing and maintaining the Environmental Management System in accordance with technical and administrative guidelines that enable pollution prevention, compliance with applicable environmental legislation and regulations, management and prevention of environmental impacts, commitment to sustainable development, and continuous improvement aligned with environmental standards. **Responsibilities:** * Ensure implementation and maintenance of Colombina’s Environmental Management System under the ISO 14001:2015 standard and the Zero Waste Management System, as well as fostering an environmental culture across the organization. * Support maintenance of the Environmental Management System by integrating organizational processes to identify opportunities for improvement and develop environmental programs with respective responsible parties, ensuring compliance with activities, controls, and other Environmental Management System requirements. * Support implementation of the 3R strategies (Reduction, Reuse, Recycling) to prevent waste generation and identified environmental impacts across processes. * Support establishment of environmental objectives, targets, and programs consistent with the organization’s strategic planning. * Conduct internal and external audits of management systems to ensure compliance with customer or legal requirements. Responsible for auditing service and supply vendors with environmental impact. * Identify organizational environmental aspects and impacts, and manage them for efficient handling. * Monitor compliance with applicable environmental regulations for the company, updating and communicating new regulatory requirements. * Lead environmental training and capacity-building initiatives across all organizational levels. * Review, update, and analyze plant-level environmental performance indicators, generating corresponding environmental reports. * Update environmental information system reports including: UAR (Unified Environmental Registry), DANE, carbon footprint, and tools required by environmental authorities. * Quotation, SAP scheduling, and assurance of execution of required environmental services/orders, as well as those mandated by legal and regulatory requirements; monitor external vendors and coordinate with Procurement. * Monitor wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) operators per departmental requirements. Maintain control over pollutant loads discharged into the public sewer network, complying with discharge regulations. * Review and update manuals for potable water, solid waste, liquid waste, and the Environmental Management System. * Analyze and disseminate strategies to optimize resource consumption (e.g., energy, water), increasing efficiency relative to production output. * Promote cleaner production practices within the manufacturing process to improve plant efficiency, reduce water consumption, and prevent contamination of water resources. * Participate directly in meetings with legal entities or autonomous corporations (e.g., SDA, AMVA) applicable to the organization. * Perform other duties inherent to the position and necessary for effective environmental management. * Support applicable industrial safety programs to ensure fulfillment of OHSMS (Occupational Health and Safety Management System) requirements. **Benefits:** * Your base salary will be COP $3,100,000. * All statutory benefits. * Indefinite-term employment contract. * Corporate benefits. * Low-interest loans. * Extra-statutory allowances. * Discounts on Colombina products. * Extra-statutory bonus equivalent to 15 days’ salary. **Work Schedule:** * On-site work. * Monday–Thursday: 7:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. * Friday: 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. **Profile:** * Professional degree in Environmental Engineering, Sanitary Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Biological Sciences, or related fields. * Knowledge of Environmental Management Systems. * Preferably familiarity with Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems. * Minimum 1 year of experience in Environmental Management Systems.
