Implementation of business logic and security measures Job Description **Role:** * Backend Development **What We Look for in You:** * Professional or Technologist in Systems or related fields, or at least (1\) year of relevant experience. **Experience in:** * Knowledge and/or experience in **Java, J2EE, JavaScript, Web Services (SOAP, REST, JAX\-WS), communication protocols and languages (XML, JSON), frameworks such as Java Server Faces (PrimeFaces), and PL/SQL.** * **Familiarity with Oracle, Hibernate, JPA, Apache CXF, Nodejs, MySQL, Android Studio, Flutter.** * **Understanding of build automation tools such as: Gradle, Webpack, Gulp, or similar.** * **Experience managing mobile application tools, application servers such as Apache Tomcat, and version control systems like GIT. Tools/Technologies** * **Programming languages: Java, JavaScript.** * **Databases: Oracle, MySQL.** * **Web servers/Execution environments: Apache Tomcat, Nodejs.** * **Collaborative development tools: Git, Docker.** * **Deployment platforms and CI/CD: AWS, Azure, Jenkins. Education** * **Software development projects.** * **Technical and functional knowledge of iCS.** * **Fundamentals of Programming and Algorithms.** * **Web Application Development with Frameworks.** * **Relational Databases.** * **Server and Network Administration.** * **Information Security and Cryptography.** * **Software Architecture and Design Patterns.** * **Intermediate English.** **Some of Your Responsibilities Will Include:** * Apply and maintain the development standards and methodologies implemented within the organization. * Perform development (new or existing features), adjustments, support, and maintenance of applications and services. * Define and code unit tests for modules to ensure compliance with design specifications, reinforcing application quality and security. * Understand issues that may arise with our clients and estimate practical solutions for them. * Design and maintain databases: Create efficient and scalable database structures for storing and retrieving information. * Develop APIs: Build application programming interfaces to connect frontend with backend. * Manage servers: Ensure servers operate correctly and address scalability and load balancing issues. * Implement business logic: Translate business requirements into code and functionality. * Guarantee security: Implement measures to protect the application against threats and vulnerabilities. Integration with other services: Connect the application with third-party or internal services. * Optimization: Improve code and database query efficiency and performance. * Updates and maintenance: Carry out enhancements and fixes on existing code. * Conduct quality controls on the product. * Produce technical documentation and end-user manuals. **What We Offer:** * Workplace: Chía. * Work Modality: Hybrid (90% remote \- 10% on-site); additionally, our offices are always available if you prefer to work on-site. * Contract Type: Indefinite-term contract. * Salary: To be agreed upon based on experience. * Development and training plan. * Complementary benefits plan. * Allowances (Education, Internet).
