We are proud to offer high-quality glass packaging for beer, wine, spirits, food, non-alcoholic beverages, cosmetics, and pharmaceutical products. **Job Description** **General Purpose:** To maintain mechanical and electronic equipment involved in glass processes in perfect condition and operating properly. **Main Responsibilities:** * Receive and provide verbal or written information regarding the status and operation of mechanical and electronic equipment used in container selection and packaging. * Perform daily checks on the operational status of assigned equipment. * Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical and electronic systems involved in container selection and packaging processes. * Analyze and solve operational problems in electronic equipment to ensure proper functioning of the production line in the cold area. * Make programming changes to logic controllers on palletizing lines and container packers. * Design and calibrate electronic control application systems for container handling. * Assist instrumentation personnel in solving problems with electronic production equipment used in other departments during emergencies. * Maintain the work area in perfect order, in accordance with industrial hygiene and safety standards. * Participate in the assembly of new projects by providing technical supervision to contracted personnel performing this work. * Adjust programming settings on electronic equipment as required. * Perform repairs on mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems of machines, tools, and equipment in the cold area, both at the worksite and in the workshop. * Interpret information from blueprints and catalogs to carry out repairs, creating blueprints for components needed for the above functions. * Prepare written reports on system anomalies and repairs. * Complete paperwork to request materials. * Perform non-specialized oxy-fuel and electric welding tasks required for maintenance and assembly work. * Perform all related and complementary duties in the cold area assigned by the immediate supervisor. * Verify proper industrial safety conditions in all jobs and assemblies performed. * Continuously apply industrial safety regulations and consistently use personal protective equipment. **Requirements** **EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:** * Mechatronics Technician or Electronics Technician, or related field. * 2 years of experience in mechanical and electronic equipment maintenance. **Specific Job Knowledge:** * Programming and control * Knowledge of mechanics, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechatronic systems * Knowledge of power transmission systems operation * Lubrication systems * Basic knowledge of industrial mechanics * Knowledge of industrial safety * Welding knowledge * Basic knowledge of electricity and electronics **Additional Information** Our work is 100% on-site, with rotating shifts, at our plant in Zipaquirá, via Nemocón.
