Job Summary: We are seeking a Cargo Checker to support import/export operations by verifying and registering goods to ensure proper handling and legalization. Key Highlights: 1. Management of documents and incident reports A logistics and cargo company is looking for a Cargo Checker to support operational import and export processes. The candidate will be responsible for physically verifying, registering, and reporting incidents related to cargo inspection, ensuring correct handling and legalization of cargo via the WMS system. **Main Responsibilities:** * Physically inspect cargo and register quantities in the WMS system. * Request and review the daily operations schedule. * Manage inspection documents for freight forwarders and airlines. * Report cargo overages, shortages, and incidents. * Take photographic records of goods with incidents or damage. * Conduct cargo searches before reporting shortages. * Legalize flights using the WMS operational system. * Identify pictograms and apply appropriate cargo handling procedures. * Ensure adherence to established timeframes for unloading and legalization. * Record operational incidents in internal forms and systems. * Support cargo storage and organization in the warehouse. **Requirements:** * High school diploma. * Minimum 6 months of experience in logistics operations, warehouse, or cargo handling. * Basic proficiency in office tools and email. * Strong written communication and spelling skills. * Availability to work rotating shifts. **Working Conditions:** * Salary: $1\.800\.000 \+ bonus of $75\.000 * Rotating shifts: 6:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. / 2:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. / 10:00 p.m. – 6:00 a.m. * Work schedule from Monday to Sunday with scheduled days off.
