The professional will provide operational support for Azure IaaS resource management, where Azure is projected to become the fastest-growing cloud in the project: from 820 instances in the current state to over 6\.400 post-migration. The role becomes fully operational in September 2026, when the first waves of migration to Azure are already underway, representing an excellent opportunity for development within one of the customer’s permanent target clouds. **Key Responsibilities** * Perform daily operational tasks on Azure resources: health checks of virtual machines, backup verification, alert review in Azure Monitor, and IaaS event management. * Support provisioning and deprovisioning of virtual machines (Azure VM) in production and non-production environments per approved requests. * Monitor available storage per instance and generate capacity reports. * Configure and verify native backups in Azure Backup; support execution of restores. * Manage resource tagging according to client standards. * Record and document all operational activities in ServiceNow Aurora. * Resolve P3/P4 incidents under supervision of senior profiles; participate in handling P1/P2 incidents in supervised on\-call mode. * Support opening tickets with Azure Support and track their resolution. * Update operational documentation and tower runbooks. **Azure Services Under Management** * Compute: Azure VM (273 PRD instances, projected growth to over 6\.400 post\-migration), AKS (4 clusters, 56 PRD nodes). * Storage: Azure Files, Blob Storage (165 PRD containers), Azure Container Registry. * Networking: VNet, Internet Gateway, NAT Gateway, VPN Gateway, ExpressRoute, ALB/App Gateway (4 PRD), Azure DNS. * Managed Services: Azure Database (74 PRD instances), CosmosDB (15 PRD containers), Azure Cache for Redis (2 PRD), Azure Functions (120 PRD), Service Bus. * Monitoring and Security: Azure Monitor, Entra ID, Azure Key Vault (24 PRD secrets), Azure Backup (420 PRD components). **Technical Requirements** * 1–2 years of experience operating Azure infrastructure or supporting cloud infrastructure. * Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ\-900) certification is mandatory; Azure Administrator Associate (AZ\-104) is desirable or in progress. * Knowledge of core Azure services: Azure VM, Azure Storage, VNet, Azure Monitor, Entra ID, and Azure Backup. * Basic proficiency with Azure CLI and PowerShell for operational tasks and diagnostic queries. * Familiarity with the Azure portal and native monitoring tools. * Experience with ticketing tools: ServiceNow, Jira, or similar. * Basic technical English for reading documentation and communicating with Azure Support. **Competencies and Profile** * Proactive attitude toward learning and technical development in enterprise cloud environments. * Attention to detail and discipline in executing operational procedures. * Strong communication skills and willingness to collaborate in teams with senior professionals. * Availability for supervised on\-call duty for P1/P2 incidents. **Conditions** * Remote work — Colombia. * Coverage 12×5 (Monday to Friday, 7:00–19:00 hours, Colombia time) for P3/P4; supervised on\-call support for P1/P2. * Development plan: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ\-104) certification pathway.
