DESCRIPTION **Senior Procurement Professional** --------------------------------- We are currently seeking to add a **Senior Procurement Professional** to our team, with solid experience and strategic vision to optimize our procurement and logistics operations. The selected candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end management of the procurement cycle, from identifying needs to supplier selection and negotiation, ensuring the best possible conditions in terms of quality, cost, and delivery timelines. This role is crucial in guaranteeing the efficiency and competitiveness of the company's supply processes. **Main Responsibilities:** * Manage and oversee the complete procurement process, including tendering, evaluation, and supplier selection. * Develop and implement sourcing strategies that align organizational needs with market best practices. * Negotiate contracts and agreements with key suppliers, always seeking the most favorable conditions for the company. * Analyze the supplier market, identify new opportunities, and assess potential risks. * Supervise logistics related to procurement, ensuring proper receipt and storage of materials and services. * Collaborate closely with other departments (engineering, production, finance) to understand their needs and ensure optimal supply. * Monitor supplier performance and manage long-term relationships. * Prepare reports and analyses on spending, supplier performance, and market trends. * Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities within procurement and supply chain processes. * Ensure compliance with internal policies and applicable regulations regarding procurement. **Job Requirements:** * University degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, International Trade, or a related field. * **Minimum of 5 years' proven experience** in procurement, supply, and/or logistics roles. * In-depth knowledge of negotiation techniques and supplier management. * Strong analytical skills and ability to work with complex data. * Fluent command of **Spanish** and **English** (spoken and written). * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. * Proven ability to work in teams and across departments. * Results-oriented and proactive. **Desirable Qualifications (Will Be Valued):** * Experience in the \[specific sector of Grupo Ortiz, if applicable]. * Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.). * Professional certifications in procurement or supply chain (e.g., CIPS). * Project management experience. * Familiarity with data analysis tools (advanced Excel, Power BI, etc.). **What We Offer:** * Join a leading and continuously growing company. * Opportunities for professional development and continuous training. * A dynamic and collaborative work environment. * Competitive salary package commensurate with experience and qualifications. * \[Other specific company benefits, if any].
