We have presence across four continents, and our headquarters are in Oslo, Norway. **Main purpose of position** Responsible for supervising all daily construction activities on site, implementing high quality standards, ensuring all personnel and contractors maintain high HSE standards, as well as monitoring and reporting project progress. Acts as the primary point of contact with contractors on site, leading daily and weekly meetings, and coordinating the sequence of construction activities with the support of supervisors. **Main purpose of position** We are currently seeking a Site Manager to become part of our global team, working together towards our vision: *Improving our future*. As our Site Manager, you will be responsible for supervising all construction activities on site, ensuring high HSE and quality standards, and leading coordination with contractors, supervisors, and local communities. **– Fixed-term contract up to 3 years.** **Key responsibilities*** Manage key project disciplines on site: Health and Safety, Environmental Management, Logistics and Warehouse, Quality Control, document control for all quality documentation, measurement of on-site activity progress, and Community Relations (claims); ensuring the project is executed according to contractual requirements and proactively supporting the Construction Team. * Ensure basic site services (security, access control, office facilities – electricity, water, cleaning, basic office supplies – vehicles) and control related budget. * Manage Scatec Solar (SSO) teams on site: plan and coordinate resources, monitor overtime, rotations and travel, take corrective actions for inappropriate behavior, conduct performance evaluations. * Lead daily and weekly meetings with contractors and coordinate the sequence of construction activities together with supervisors. * Prepare daily and weekly construction reports based on site observations. * Interact daily with Scatec Solar (SSO) Site Managers and Supervisors on topics including progress, risks, and work quality. * Evaluate subcontractor progress reports and validate their consistency. * Represent Scatec Solar (SSO) in community meetings as part of stakeholder engagement, supporting the CLO, unions, local authorities, schools, environmental and governmental audits on site. * Review invoices and Change Order claims, supporting the Project Manager in evaluation and approval. * Organize and host site visits: coordinate safe entry logistics, prepare agendas, and define Scatec Solar (SSO) team accompaniment. * Support supervisors in reviewing contractor work procedures and methods, technical evaluations, due diligence studies, and designs. * Manage site close-out phase, including contractor demobilization, O\&M team integration, and handover of activities. **Qualifications and competencies** --------------------------------- * Degree in Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or Construction Management * Desirable specialization in Solar Energy and/or Renewables * Training in Project Management * More than 8 years of experience in construction projects in supervisory or managerial roles * Experience in comprehensive construction management: electrical, mechanical and civil engineering * Management of personnel, time, costs, quality and production * At least 2 years of experience in EPC projects * Proficient written and oral English (intermediate level may be considered) * Valid driver's license **Personal characteristics** It is part of every employee’s responsibility to contribute to Scatec’s vision: Improving our future, and to act in line with our corporate values: * Predictable: demonstrates clear communication and listening skills, shares information openly and honestly. * Results-oriented: demonstrates determination, proactiveness, ability to prioritize, and work independently. * Change agent: demonstrates entrepreneurial spirit, ability to question, learn quickly, take initiative and adapt. * Teamwork: demonstrates collaboration, shares responsibilities, knows how to commit, and maintains a positive “can-do” attitude. **What we offer** Scatec is an exciting, innovative, and ambitious company operating in a growing industry.
