Currently, we are looking for a **remote Senior PostgreSQL Developer**. The customer provides Direct\-to\-Consumer services encompassing global entertainment and news TV properties, TV stations group, and radio businesses. **Responsibilities** * Different PostgreSQL installations * Communicate with developers, product managers and everybody who relies on PostgreSQL * Support \& development of relational ( RDS PostgreSQL, MySQL) database systems * Data Stores support and automation **Requirements** * 3\+ years of experience as PostgreSQL Developer * 2\+ years hands\-on database experience on AWS using RDS and/or Aurora PostgreSQL, MySQL * 2\+years of experience with Linux systems * Understanding of relational and non\-relational database concepts * Experience with PL/pgSQL * Good understanding of Postgres Architecture (processes, how does Postgres work with memory and hard drive structures, transactions including transaction isolations, stages for query execution and how to tune it, cursors, multiclient connections and ways for re\-using clients connections, client pool, mvcc, buffer cache, WAL segments, tablespaces, roles and privileges and so on) * Experience with monitoring and troubleshooting * Good communication skills
