Hands-on experience in civil supervision and quality control Overview: At Scatec, you have the opportunity to work for an impact-driven company. We develop, build, own, and operate renewable energy solutions that accelerate access to clean, reliable, and affordable energy. As part of a global and agile organization, you will collaborate with skilled colleagues across functions and locations, assume real responsibility, and contribute to a company driven by the vision of improving our future. At the heart of everything we do is our belief that we bring the energy: the energy for change, connection, and growth. This defines how we collaborate, innovate, and create impact together. If you seek a role where your contribution is visible, your development matters, and your work supports a more sustainable future, Scatec may be the right place for you. Ready to make an impact? **Why this role matters** As a Civil Quality Technician, you will play a key role in proactively evaluating on-site work to verify compliance with quality requirements during construction, in accordance with project documentation, guiding the field team and supporting the implementation of organizational tools under the supervision of the site Quality Manager within the Quality Management System. This is a role for someone who wants to combine quality with purpose, learn in a dynamic international business, and build experience in one of the world’s most relevant industries. **What you’ll be doing** In this role, you will: * Manage on-site quality inspectors and support the Quality Manager to ensure achievement of objectives. * Implement and supervise the on-site Quality Management System within your discipline. * Identify and communicate field issues directly affecting project/plant quality. * Manage key quality records (inspections, non-conformities, concessions, and calibrations). * Implement and track the Non-Conformance Report (NCR) process. * Conduct inspections, follow up on pending items (punch list), and approve contractor quality reports. * Supervise contractors’ correct implementation of the quality system and manage feedback. * Prepare project quality documentation and packages (including audits and final handover – TTO). Your work will support real decisions, real assets, and real operational outcomes. **What you’ll gain** * Professional growth through responsibility, exposure, and significant contribution from day one * Practical experience in a role where the challenge is stimulating, dynamic, meaningful, and grounded in hands-on learning * Practical experience in civil supervision and execution of field works, ensuring compliance with drawings, technical specifications, and quality standards * Development of skills in construction control, progress tracking, contractor management, and on-site resolution of construction issues **Experience and Qualifications** * Degree in Civil Engineering, with knowledge of ISO 9001 and MS Office proficiency (quality control certification is desirable). * 3–5 years of experience in construction projects (preferably in energy, substations, or transmission lines) and in Quality Management Systems. * Ability to work in dynamic, fast-paced environments. * Fluency in the local language (spoken and written) and intermediate or advanced English. * Solid technical knowledge, including drawing interpretation, quality inspections, and practical understanding of field work. * Key competencies: organization, proactivity, results orientation, risk management, decision-making, and strong sense of ownership **How it is to work at Scatec** At Scatec, we combine purpose with performance. We value accountability, clarity, and collaboration, and encourage people to challenge existing ways of working, contribute ideas, and continue developing. You can expect an environment where people work together across disciplines and geographies, where strong performance matters, and where you are trusted to take responsibility without unnecessary hierarchy.**If you’re motivated to become our next Civil Quality Technician, this could be a solid next step in your career** **What we offer** At Scatec, you will join a company with a clear and ambitious purpose—working on renewable energy solutions that deliver lasting impact. You will assume responsibilities early, learn from experienced colleagues, and develop your capabilities in a business offering global exposure, strong development opportunities, and meaningful work in the energy transition. We are continuously evolving as a digital and data-driven organization, leveraging technology and AI to improve how we work and create value for our teams. Scatec is an equal opportunity employer.
