Poultry company is seeking a Maintenance Assistant for its operations team with the following certified qualifications: **EDUCATION** * Technician or technologist in electromechanical maintenance. Person with experience in electromechanical maintenance. **EXPERIENCE** * Minimum of two (2) years of related experience. **Functions** * Execute preventive maintenance routines on electrical, mechanical, and electromechanical equipment (motors, fans, automatic feeders, heating systems, water pumps, etc.). * Diagnose mechanical and electrical failures and perform repairs according to established procedures. * Document maintenance activities performed, including replaced parts and downtime. * Verify electrical connections to prevent short circuits, overloads, or malfunctions. * Perform welding work on metal structures such as cages, gates, drinkers, feeders, among others. * Conduct periodic inspections of infrastructure (poultry houses, fences, roofs, etc.) to detect signs of wear, corrosion, or damage. * Assist in cleaning and clearing technical areas to prevent electrical or mechanical hazards. * Maintain organization, cleanliness, and inventory control of tools and spare parts. * Ensure proper and safe use of machinery and tools. * Respond quickly to critical failures affecting poultry production (power failure, ventilation system damage, etc.). * Work in coordination with the maintenance supervisor and other technicians to restore operations. SCHEDULE: Monday to Saturday, with availability to work on Sundays if operation requires. SALARY: $1,700,000 + Legal transportation allowance + Social benefits. CONTRACT: Permanent, immediate hiring.
