Important agricultural sector company requires a Warehouse Assistant. **Main Responsibilities:** **Receiving Goods**: * Verify the quality and quantity of received products. * Record and document product entries into the system. * Coordinate with suppliers for material delivery and receipt. * **Product Storage**: * Organize and store products efficiently and safely. * Ensure products are properly labeled and classified. * Keep the storage area clean and organized. * **Inventory Control**: * Conduct periodic inventories to ensure record accuracy. * Use inventory management systems to track and record product movements. * Identify and report inventory discrepancies. * **Product Shipping**: * Prepare and pack products for dispatch. * Coordinate with the logistics team for product distribution. * Record product outbound transactions in the system. * **Record Keeping**: * Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all warehouse operations. * Prepare inventory reports and other reports required by management. * **Compliance with Safety Standards**: * Follow workplace safety policies and procedures. * Use appropriate personal protective equipment. * Report any incidents or unsafe conditions to supervision. * **Collaboration with Other Departments**: * Work closely with the production department to ensure proper material flow. * Communicate any inventory or storage issues to the management team. * **Maintenance of Equipment and Tools**: * Ensure tools and warehouse equipment are in good working condition. * Perform minor repairs and report major maintenance needs. * **Returns Management**: * Process returns of defective or non-conforming products. * Coordinate with suppliers for return and replacement of products. Perform other assigned functions according to the level, nature, and work area of the position, meeting quality and timeliness standards. Academic level: High school graduate, technical or technologist; students or recent graduates of administrative or engineering programs (business administration - Industrial Engineering). Working hours: Monday to Friday from 06:30 am to 04:00 pm and Saturdays from 06:30 am to 12:00 pm. Minimum of 6 months certified experience. Work location: Municipality of Sibaté, Cundinamarca, vereda Alto Charco and Carrizal. PREFERRED THAT THE APPLICANT HAS OWN VEHICLE FOR TRANSPORTATION.
