**Shift/Work Schedule:** Rotating
The Dispatch Assistant will handle general incoming and outgoing shipments properly using an understanding of warehouse processes and procedures and will work under regular supervision. In this role, the individual will complete activities related to shipment receipt and documentation, goods receipt, and ensure accurate documentation and recordkeeping.
**Key Responsibilities**
---------------------------
* Receipt of goods and document review
* Willingness to travel between agencies as needed (Greater Bogotá area: Montevideo and Paloquemado)
* Completion of food quality and safety folders, ISSO format
* Placement of materials in various cold rooms
* Loading goods for internal and external customers and controlling supporting documents
* Conducting cyclical inventories of materials and reporting counts to immediate supervisor
* Supporting internal customers for inquiries and reviews
* Generating internal and external requests, dispatching to input agencies, managing pending documentation. Providing timely and appropriate information to immediate supervisor for inventory- and supply-related decision-making
* Performing other duties assigned relevant to warehouse operations
* Maintaining order, cleanliness, and compliance with all quality, food safety, and safety regulations
* Packing products into cardboard boxes
**Qualifications**
------------------
**Minimum:**
* Completed high school diploma or higher
* Ability to read and write Spanish without difficulty
* Must be over 18 years of age
* Ability to perform physical tasks safely, including bending, climbing/descending stairs, kneeling, squatting, and twisting, and handling loads with or without reasonable accommodation
* Ability to work in various environments where noise, dust, chemicals, etc., may be present, using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
* Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions, including ambient heat, cold (2°C, -3°C, -18°C)
* Willingness to work overtime, including weekends, holidays, or alternate shifts, with advance notice
* Minimum of (6 months) of experience working in (logistics)
