If you're seeking an impactful and challenging opportunity, we welcome your application. **Responsibilities** * Review and analyze current database architecture and infrastructure * Document system components and identify areas for improvement * Recommend optimal technical strategies to modernize a legacy database system * Oversee infrastructure upgrades, schema design, and data modeling efforts * Manage data migration and real\-time replication tasks effectively * Collaborate with cross\-functional teams to develop improved database designs * Conduct performance evaluations and tuning for optimal database operations * Perform root cause analysis to resolve performance bottlenecks and system issues **Requirements** * 6\+ years of experience in software design and development * 5\+ years of professional experience as a Sybase production Database Administrator * 2\+ years in a leadership role within database\-focused projects * Expertise in database architecture and configuration * Knowledge of general database design and development principles * Familiarity with very large databases and data warehousing solutions * Proficiency in English communication (written and spoken) at a B2 level **Nice to have** * Understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, and Azure
