If you're seeking a compelling and rewarding opportunity, we invite you to apply. **Responsibilities** * Analyze, document, and assess the current database architecture and infrastructure * Recommend optimal technical strategies and best practices to modernize legacy database systems * Oversee database upgrades, re\-architecture efforts, infrastructure improvements, schema design, and data modeling * Supervise data migration and the implementation of real\-time replication processes * Collaborate with team members to develop and refine database design solutions * Conduct database performance testing and optimize database efficiency * Perform root cause assessments and resolve performance\-related issues **Requirements** * 6\+ years of experience in software design and development * 5\+ years working as a hands\-on Sybase production Database Administrator * 2\+ years of relevant leadership experience * Expertise in database architecture and configuration * Understanding of general database design and development standards * Background in working with very large databases or data warehousing * Proficient English (written and spoken) at a B2 level **Nice to have** * Proficiency in cloud technologies, including AWS, GCP, or Azure
