**Important Educational Sector Association** is urgently seeking a **Kitchen Assistant – Grill Cook** for immediate hiring. **Job Profile** We are looking for an experienced, passionate, and detail-oriented Grill Cook responsible for preparing meats, poultry, and other grilled items, ensuring flavor, proper presentation, and compliance with hygiene and quality standards. The ideal candidate must be **agile, responsible, proactive, and capable of working effectively in a team**, within a dynamic and high-demand environment. **Requirements** **Education:** * High school diploma or technical studies. **Experience:** * Minimum **1 year of experience** in institutional food services, preferably in **school grill operations**. **Knowledge and Skills** * Food handling and **Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)**. * Culinary techniques and handling of various ingredients. * Teamwork, responsibility, and service orientation. **Main Responsibilities** * Support the chef and head cook in the **preparation, cooking, and serving** of snacks, lunches, and institutional events. * Prepare cold and hot foods according to the **menu schedule**. * Prepare meats, poultry, fruits, vegetables, and other supplies (washing, peeling, cutting, and portioning). * Measure and mix ingredients using scales and measuring jugs. * Set up service lines during lunchtime. * Provide **prompt, courteous, and efficient** service to the educational community. * Maintain order, cleanliness, and good condition of equipment, utensils, and work areas. * Carry out cleaning, disinfection, and control record procedures in accordance with GMP. * Monitor appropriate use of raw materials to avoid losses and waste. * Comply with the general kitchen cleaning schedule, including equipment and assigned areas. * Assist with inventories, receipt of supplies, and utensil control. * Participate in meetings and activities required by the Association. * Support event catering both inside and outside the school. * Package, label, and distribute bottled water and juices when required. * Occasionally perform cashier duties, ensuring proper handling of resources (when performing this role, the employee may not handle food). * Perform any other duties related to the position. **Working Conditions** * **Schedule:** Monday to Saturday * **Contract Type:** Fixed-term contract * **Salary:** $1\.600\.000 (monthly payment) * **Benefits:** Transportation allowance + all statutory benefits * **Position Type:** Full-time **Application:** If you meet the requirements and are interested in joining our team, apply to this vacancy.
