Build and strengthen client and partner relationships We are looking for an experienced **Ocean Freight Operations Specialist** to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing both import and export ocean freight operations while ensuring efficient shipment coordination and outstanding customer service. **Responsibilities** * Manage both import and export ocean freight operations. * Ensure day\-to\-day operations are handled effectively and efficiently. * Handle ocean carrier bookings and review itineraries and logistics solutions proposed to clients. * Ensure timely follow\-up in accordance with service levels and client requirements. * Coordinate customs clearance processes. * Handle DGR shipments in compliance with Dangerous Goods Regulations. * Coordinate the receipt, review, and processing of shipping documentation. * Build, maintain, and strengthen relationships with clients, suppliers, and partners. * Communicate and negotiate effectively with all stakeholders to ensure smooth shipment execution. **Working conditions:** * Working schedule: * Competitive Salary in USD * **Remote mode of work** * 10\+ business days of paid time off * English courses * Equipment provided **Requirements** * Minimum **3 years of experience** in Ocean Freight Operations. * Fluency in **French and English** is mandatory. (**Spanish** is also applicable) * Spanish is a strong asset, as daily communication with the Latin American division may be required. * Hands\-on experience with **DGR shipments**. * Strong knowledge of **customs procedures**. * Experience with **FCL, LCL, and preferably Project Cargo shipments** is an advantage. * Excellent analytical and problem\-solving skills with strong attention to detail. * Outstanding organizational and interpersonal skills. * Experience working with **TMS/Carwise** is considered a plus.
