We are looking for a **Semi-Senior/Senior QA Engineer** passionate about software quality, with solid experience in test strategies, automation, and quality metrics, to join a dynamic team in the financial sector. This role involves close collaboration with agile teams in hybrid environments, ensuring delivery of robust, secure solutions aligned with the highest quality standards. **Key Responsibilities:** * Design, implement, and execute test plans and strategies (functional, non-functional, security, and performance). * Automate frontend (web/mobile) and backend (APIs/services) tests using frameworks such as SerenityBDD, Cucumber, Gherkin, and Karate. * Manage test cases and defects in tools like Jira and X-Ray. * Validate data in relational databases (SQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, DB2) and participate in defining acceptance criteria. * Integrate test scripts into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps) and apply shift-left/shift-right practices. * Interpret performance testing results (JMeter, k6) and security testing results (OWASP ZAP). * Contribute to continuous quality improvement through metrics analysis, adherence to development best practices (SOLID, Clean Code), and use of GenAI tools. **Position Requirements:** * Proven experience as a QA Engineer in agile environments (Scrum/Kanban), minimum 3 years. * Strong knowledge of testing processes and types (ISTQB FL or AT certification desirable). * Intermediate proficiency in automation using SerenityBDD, ScreenPlay, Cucumber, Karate, and performance tools (JMeter/k6). * Experience managing tests with Jira/X-Ray and version control with Git. * Knowledge of relational databases and data validation using SQL. * Strong communication, teamwork, and negotiation skills. * Preferred: experience in security testing (OWASP ZAP), ITIL v4, and use of GenAI tools (GitHub Copilot, Windsurf). * Ability to work in agile and collaborative environments under a hybrid model in Ecuador. **We Offer:** * Culture of innovation and professional growth * Indefinite-term employment (employment relationship) * Statutory benefits * Private medical insurance * Life insurance * Birthday leave day We invite you to learn more about us at http://www.neoris.com, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, or Instagram: @NEORIS.
