**RETIE:**
The following classifications may be accepted according to scope:
* Competency Certificates issued by universities approved by the Ministry of Mines and Energy, within the following scopes corresponding to the duties to be performed:
* Competency Certificate for Electrical Installations in Transmission—including high- and extra-high-voltage substations
* Competency Certificate for Electrical Installations in Distribution—including transformation associated with the distribution process
* Competency Certificate for Final-Use Electrical Installations—basic (includes distribution and transformation associated with end use)
* Competency Certificate for Special Final-Use Electrical Installations in locations classified as hazardous
* Certification as Inspector of Electrical Installations for Power Transmission and associated electrical substations, at voltage levels equal to or exceeding 57,500 V.
* Certification as Inspector of Electrical Installations for Distribution Networks and associated electrical substations, at voltage levels below 57,500 V.
* Certification as Inspector of Final-Use Electrical Installations in locations classified as hazardous, including associated installations: self-generation and cogeneration of electricity with direct-current and alternating-current voltage levels below 1,000 V; distribution networks and associated substations, with voltage below 57,500 V.
* Inspector of Final-Use Electrical Installations for Special Equipment (including elevators, network systems and fire pumps, emergency systems, swimming pools, fountains, and similar).
* Inspector of Special Final-Use Electrical Installations (such as high-occupancy buildings, prefabricated structures, agricultural or livestock facilities, mobile homes, recreational vehicles, parked trailers, floating houses, and stilt houses).
* Inspector of Final-Use Electrical Installations other than those listed under items d, e, f, g, and h, including associated installations: self-generation and cogeneration of electricity, with direct-current and alternating-current voltage levels below 1000 V; distribution networks and associated electrical substations, with voltage below 57,500 V.
**NOTE:** Once Resolution 40293 of 2021 becomes mandatory, only competency certifications required under Resolution 40293 of 2021 will be required.
**RETILAP**
* Preferably a minimum of 120 hours of training and updating in lighting and/or public lighting, conducted and certified by legally accredited or recognized universities or higher education training centers.
