Willing to learn on-site and in operational and technical support environments. · Technical Knowledge RF Fundamentals Electromagnetic theory applied to telecommunications. Wave propagation in free space and guided media. Link budget calculation and analysis. Attenuation, free-space path loss (FSPL), fading. Co-channel and adjacent-channel interference. Microwave Point-to-point microwave links. Line-of-sight (LOS) concept and Fresnel zone. Topographic profile analysis. Link availability (99.9%, 99.99%). Fade margin calculation. Licensed and unlicensed frequency bands.
