Partner with safety committee on hazard control and accident prevention ***Essential Duties and Responsibilities*** * Assist in the development, implementation, and continuous refinement of SEL’s environmental, health, and safety (EHS) programs that encourage a safe and healthy work environment and comply with federal, state, and local regulations; research regulations as needed. * Own programs that ensure safety and environmental compliance; maintain programs to fulfill on\-going customer requirements or needs. * Counsel all levels of management and employee owners on safety management programs and practices and balance the needs of various stakeholders to understand problems and needs; participate in cross functional teams to create solutions within areas of expertise. * Respond to job related customer inquiries, questionnaires, surveys, requirements, issues, and any environmental incidents. * Participate in internal audits and compliance inspections and identifies actions necessary to meet regulatory and ISO 14001 and 45001 standard requirements. * Perform EH\&S review/approval as part of the Management of Change (MOC) process. * Participate in equipment safety design by working closely with more senior EH\&S personnel and other engineering groups within the company. * Partner with site safety committee on active hazard control and accident prevention programs; facilitate incident investigation process, assist or lead in root cause investigations, and recommend corrective actions. * Model, teach and apply SEL Values, Principles of Operations, and World Class Manufacturing Principles. * Understand. Simplify. * Other duties as assigned. ***Required Qualifications*** * Bachelor’s Degree in a EH\&S related field or Engineering or equivalent experience * 3\+ years of EH\&S related experience * Professional certification, such as Associate Safety Professional (ASP), Occupational Health and Safety Technician (OHST), Health and Safety Certificate for Colombia * Experience with multiple EH\&S programs * Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 applications * Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail * Excellent writing, grammar, and communication skills * Ability to work both independently and cooperatively within a team environment * Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities * Negative drug test result(s) * Background check results satisfactory to SEL ***Preferred Qualifications*** * EH\&S experience in electronics manufacturing environment * ISO 45001 and/or 14001 internal auditor experience ***Physical Requirements*** * Able to walk and stand for extended periods, climb stairs unassisted and lift and carry up to 20 lbs
