At G4S, we are looking for a Canine Guide Handler to join our team. Location: Bogotá Work Mode: On-site Contract Type: Indefinite Term What Are We Looking For? Are you a high school graduate (any track) with over one year of experience as a security officer/guard and a valid canine handler certification? This vacancy is for you! What Will You Do? * Crisis Management and Response: Act as the first responder during incidents (theft, fire attempts, medical emergencies), applying advanced security protocols until reinforcements or authorities arrive. * Risk Analysis and Assessment: Identify vulnerabilities at the service post (lighting issues, malfunctioning cameras, unusual visitor patterns) and propose corrective measures to your supervisor. * Advanced Auditing and Monitoring: Operate complex CCTV systems, electronic alarm systems, and access control software, identifying failures and managing recordings for investigation purposes. * Preparation of Detailed Reports: Document incidents thoroughly, including witness statements, chronological timelines, and actions taken, serving as legal evidence or internal investigation support. * Operational Closure Control: Supervise high-risk processes such as cash register closing, loading/unloading of high-value goods, or securing critical areas (servers, vaults). * Training and Guidance (Mentoring): Guide and supervise inexperienced officers, ensuring compliance with job standards and procedures. * Liaison with Authorities: Serve as the primary point of contact with the National Police, firefighters, or other emergency agencies during an incident, coordinating access and information sharing.
